Birmingham stand up. As you know, Sinners Podcast, they've got a lot to say. And obviously, they're sending shots after the GRM. They're sending shots, calling out Speedy, calling out Posty. Now, I watched the first three and a half minutes and I thought, you know what, let me, you know, react to this and offer my support of reset and giving when it comes to everyone working as a team, using my platform. Because one thing about Braum, and what I realized, and I remember T1, filmmaker, actor, artist, producer, you know, like, like he's on BBC, he's done amazing things. I remember with T1, he used to always say, "Bro, in Braum, we don't get no support. We're always looked at as outsiders, and it's always a London thing. Like, the industry is in London. Like, it's a London thing." And in my head, I was like, "Bro, like, but I really check it." But then I'm thinking, right, like, when artists do blow up, like from Manchester and Liverpool, they actually blow up the whole of the UK. It's harder for artists to blow up in Liverpool, Manchester, and Braum when they're in London because they're only blowing up in London. Do you know what I mean? Unless you're getting big, big. If you look at the artists like Manchester, you look at Bugzy Malone, you look at H, you look at Meets Manny, do you know what I mean? The list goes on, but they're blowing up, they're blowing up up and down the country. But anyway, in terms of podcast spaces, in terms of the creator spaces, I don't think that Birmingham get the support that they need to get. And this is why I'm not, this is why we're all pushing this industry reset, and they will be. Don't even worry, 'cause it's like, like I said, I'm not a talker, I'm a doer. So, I will definitely be putting multiple things in place to build that infrastructure from Ireland down to London, like, like proper infrastructure, and then you will actually see the force. And I got a few tricks up my sleeve for next year, you get me? 'Cause to be honest, Posty and Friends can be Posty and Friends. That's not a problem. But over here, there has to be like, the independent industry reset. The independent industry reset. Do you know what I'm trying to say? Like, it has to be that, like, it has to be independent industry reset, and we need to champion actual raw talent. Anyway, it's getting to this. It's getting to this. It's getting to this for now.

>> Thank you.

>> It was you.

>> Thank you very much. Welcome back to Sinners Updates with myself, Ty Rosa. On the table, we've got Jasmina, Speedy, and Ras Nato. Up north has been disrespected, especially by platforms like Posty, GRM Daily. From the early days of GRM Daily North, there's always been the invisible line drawn between London and everywhere else. Rather than bringing the scenes together, it felt like a separation, almost like the North was an afterthought. One thing I will say, obviously, I know Posty, you're feeling like collateral damage, but I will definitely mention the linkups and the mixtape manders. But Posty, when you, when you're the frontman, when it comes to, we think pushing and moving the needle, you get me? Obviously, everyone's going to voice their opinion. And I'm only going to champion that because me being in Ulot's world and seeing all the fuckeries that go on, man will just call it out and let you lot know. Actually, your USP, your IP is all out the window, bro. 'Cause actually, why hasn't no one taught artists how to do digital marketing? Because if the whole, if thousands and hundreds of thousands of artists knew how to do digital marketing, then they wouldn't need GRM, they wouldn't need Link Up, they wouldn't need Mixtape Madness. Now, we can go onto all their pages and look at their actual view ratios for artists that's paying the £400 upload fee. And I can now give them a promise. I can promise them that they're going to get more streams, more views from putting that same £400 into their own channel and creating a strategy how to execute that. I can give that promise. Like, if you don't get more views than that, bam. Do you know what I'm trying to say? I know that. So this is what they try to scare for, this is what they're afraid for me exposing. But it's all out the window anyway. Let's get into it.

>> [ __ ] PY [ __ ] geese.

>> He's the, um, founder of

>> GRM.

>> GRM. The boldness. You know, if you're talking about this reset, or if you're talking about going at the industry here, and we bounce around this, the whole Shade Bor thing, to me personally, it doesn't make sense. Shade Bor, you're going to get shade.

>> So, up to their name.

>> You know what I'm saying? Now, you see with Shade Bor, what they was doing is they was doing malicious mad stuff. So, it was like bottom of the barrel. Now they're doing, they're doing what they need to do, but they can't do bottom of the barrel stuff knowing that real bad man on the road actually it can get techy for real bad man. Know what you're doing because you're putting people's families and everything at harm, or you're affecting people. Do you get what I'm trying to say? Now they need to be mindful because it's like, real bad man knows their location. And I'm not saying me, but I'm just saying as a whole. So now their whole shebang, it's moving how it's meant to be moving respectfully, you know.

>> But on a whole, what he's saying about, um, industry reset and all that, I feel like is we should use our platforms to speak up against people that are

>> being gatekeepers and

>> uh controlling a narrative to the scene and who can be a part of it and who cannot. Do you trying to say? Ultimately, understand that everyone's platforms, that platform for them to no, that's not him to do whatever they want to do with. Here's my thing. Yeah. Is this? Yeah. If you had an infrastructure in Manchester, you had the infrastructure in Birmingham, you had an infrastructure in Liverpool, do you know what I mean? You had an infrastructure in Cardiff, like all the areas that you know our culture is from predominantly. Yeah. What is that going to do for our scene and creators and the talented people and understanding that and building up a data? What is that going to do? That's going to push and grow and own market share independently. But what happens is, for years, people are stuck in their ways. This is why it's time for change, and this is why I'm pushing change, and this is why they can't silence me because I own my own IP. So, if artists owned their own IP and they stop putting their energy on these other platforms and uploads, bro, they're going to develop. They're going to make more money, and they're going to be in charge, and they're going to add more value to their in terms of sponsorship, if they're looking for sponsorship, brand endorsement deals, because you have more leverage.

>> But GRM's been one of the biggest platforms on time. And and the whole scene and industry have supported them in terms of

>> watching the content, being on the website. Remember, you know, before GRM, World Star, that was the biggest

>> urban platform in the world. Do you get what I'm saying? GRM's been as as big as that

>> since 2009.

>> Remember, you know, that was the, that was the platform he followed suit. That's what inspired him was World Star. You get

>> you get what I'm saying? But my whole gripe with the with the whole GRM platform is that it was always based around London. You get what I'm saying? Which so it should be

>> even our thing we done. Sorry to cut you. I remember got that city to city. Yeah.

>> But like obviously it's got big views and all that. I think he's nearly touching the M. But really, when you come down, you've not just made it like a GRM freestyle or nothing. It had to be city to city.

>> We're going to Braum like you like you know like

>> like Yeah.

>> You're always separating us like

>> But why do you think it should have started off in London anyway? Like, stay, why did, why did you say that?

>> Well, it's just n because he's from London and it, so obviously, ultimately, he's probably filming his bridges and built a platform.

>> And obviously, it's, it's, look, Post built a great platform. It's not, get me, they all add value to the culture. Man, put pressure on these lot, they sort out their platform, period, because man's just going to teach everyone the game. So, they're going to have to adapt and change the things in their platform that's going to make sense and help develop and push the needle for culture, period. Like, so they're not going nowhere. Their stocks will go down because everyone's going to know the thing. There's no one coming out talking about digital marketing, digital marketing, own your own IP. There's no one. Why ain't there? And this is what you got to understand about this ring and how it's controlled. You get me? And I was saying Zezy Mills was an advocate for drill music. Oh, so violent before she was in the industry. Now drill's at its highest heights in terms of people actually getting 38 years and this, this, this, this. Why ain't she speaking about it publicly? Because of the industry ring. And I will always say these things, you get me? I don't change. So, I've always been a threat from when I even went on the Zezy Mills and Little Man and when I, we went onto that show and I started talking about upload fees and whatnot. Bro, you're making money from views anyway. So, why do you need to make money from upload fee? Like, do you know what I'm trying to say? Like, but on the flip side, is the labels outsource, most of the time, the labels outsource a digital marketing team to run campaigns for the company. Not all, not all labels have an in-house digital marketing team. So, why is, and the digital marketing team that are running campaigns for the artist, they're running, it's the same people. It's the same people, bro. Like, you actually don't even know your demographic audience, where your campaign's going, whether the digital marketing person scammed you or not, because it's called a spade a spade. Yeah, we can put on a digital marketing campaign in India, and I kid you not, bro, Shannon, how many people are in India? Like, over a billion. You should know, you're Indian, you should be knowing a, the population. Anyway, my business partner, so I looked that up. Yeah, you quick, get me. 1.4 billion people are in India. And understand the cost per click is, it costs hardly anything. So, in the grand scheme of things, 100k views on YouTube looks like 100k views. It looks great, but there might be no development. So, you need to have breakdowns of analytics of what's going on and where. And these people are not going to do this, bro. The labels outsource, you get me? Trust me.

>> Platform like that.

>> Yeah, but he should have opened it up.

>> Now, we can't say he should have. Obviously, it's his, it's his platform to do as he wishes. You know what I'm trying to say? But

>> as a, as a scene in the industry builds,

>> Yeah.

>> and you start to gain control and market share, like, then that's when it's like, you're going to have people reaching out from all over.

>> You get what I'm trying to say? What? That's when that's when you, as a person, is is made. You get what I'm saying?

>> And for me, bro, the geese are just too arrogant, bro. See him? Now you're flossing with all this money that we're all stakeholders to GRM. We've all

>> made you money, bro. And you're moving like you're too nice.

>> You get it?

>> This is actually facts though. We're all stakeholders of GRM. We all got Posty rich, bro. Obviously, look, get me. What he's done for the scene is amazing, but he just hasn't been fair in terms of the development and pushing the scene and artists. And now it's like, no problem. Leave them alone. We'll deal with that. We'll deal with all the people that you didn't, and you just focus on your friends. I'll focus on the rest. I'll focus on the rest. We all, like, we've all been invested.

>> It should be more for the people.

>> What makes you cool? Like he moves like he's too nice?

>> Okay. So, if I'm talking about back in the day, that GR, the whole GRM Daily North, that was some chipsoft thing. You just getting some, some, some reborn cameramen to come and do some a separate YouTube channel from GRM, yeah, to

>> you know what I'm saying? For you. And see them lot's got their own person. Them not's got their own personal issue. They're not jumping on my thing of a reset. They're, they're, they're looking at the stuff that my man was doing over the years and it's like, bro, man's not a part of the culture. Why are you doing this separately, bro? Ain't we a part of it? It doesn't make no sense.

>> So, you've just said to someone, "Yeah, yeah, just

>> it was a mug off still."

>> Yeah. You mugged man off and just made some jar like we couldn't be a part of that. And then, and then, and then when people did start get popping

>> up here. Yeah.

>> You, like someone's will start building them off.

>> Yeah. You're taking them and then you

>> and then putting them up in

>> down there and it's just them. That's it. You can be involved.

>> Yeah. But not the rest of them can't.

>> Yeah. Yeah.

>> Kind of thing. You get what I'm saying? And then it's like, obviously, just like with his platforms, when he's been an interview person, like he just got this

>> I want to say how is arrogance

>> lava

>> cocky thing. I said cocky. Let me do these speak about. But yeah, it boy. Listen, let me know your thoughts in the comments. This is how the from man. Um, them. This is them talking about this over years. I wasn't, I don't think I was out then when this GRM thing happened or the grind thing happened just for Birmingham, that how they were segregated. I wasn't, I wasn't, I don't think I was out of prison then.

>> Here, what now? You got a talent platform what produces new talent.

>> You have to be in tune with the people and what's going on. Have to be on the ground, grassroots level to the streets.

>> Finding out what the biggest. Go to America, the biggest Leo Cohen in his suit.

>> Yeah.

>> When certain rappers are telling you how they first met him, it was on the middle of the Bronx on the street. He's pulled up in the in the limousine into their block with a man getting shot and he said, "Yo, rap

>> right now in Fin. No beat rap." And that's how they got their deal. So

>> you got to, you got to keep your ear to the streets, man. You can't, you can't be like that, bro. And he just comes across as someone that is boasting about how rich he is and stunting on the culture that have made him and are not in as fortunate as places.

>> But you don't give enough back.

>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, like

>> here's my thing is like, where's GRM Studios? Where's all these things? Where is

>> can we even remember another the next up and coming artist that GRM or any of these platforms has pushed that has no streams, but they're just basing on just talent? All right, this is what we're going to do. We're going to do this. We're going to do this. We'll sign you. How come there's? What's happened to GRM Records? Like, why ain't you got infrastructure and that? Like, do you know what I mean? What happened? Do you know what I mean? You're making enough money. No one don't want to invest their money now. No one ain't got no label imprint. Bro, there, it's, it's a lot.

>> You just got a circle of rich friends.

>> Yeah.

>> Like, and you know what happens when it looks like that? When it's a circle of rich friends, like

>> it's almost like you be like, what am I saying? The ring bolt. It's like a ring. You know what I'm saying? These are going to stay rich and we're going to just stay trying to make

>> But that's the truth. I get that.

>> That's the truth.

>> That's why I say is the ring. You got that ecosystem, that ring, the culture. This person, this person deals with, I don't know, YouTube Music. This person deals with this person. This person deals with Amazon. You get me? This person deals with this. And everyone's good friends within this. So, this person deals with Spotify. You get me? Um, take this one out to dinner. This, this, this, this. Bro, there's no other way in unless you can't get to these people like that, bro. And you're not, they're not going to do anything for you. You ain't got the numbers. You ain't got accolades. It's not going to work. So, how do we get the numbers, accolades? We have to flip and build up an infrastructure. We got to build that data. We got to build up unity. You get me? That's it. No matter how big I get, I'm always going to support Sinners Podcast. I'm always going to support all the up and coming, bro. Doesn't matter. I produce five, six videos a day. God willing, I produce 15 videos a day. Do you know what I'm trying to say, bro? That is culture, growth, unity. This is what these lot are saying. Go over there and and and tap into them. But anyway, look, like I said, industry reset is not just the back of talking. I am not a talker. I am a doer. Get me? I have AI, I have automations, I have AI agents, I have data, I have softwares that apply, and I have a great mindset in terms of how to execute things. So, I look forward to it, man. You get me? Like I said, give it two years and you will see the shift. To be honest, reset has already happened when you think about DJ Ag. Like that's one DJ, bro, that started DJing on the streets, crowd-serving on TikTok, and how he was able to take over the world of DJing just from being on the streets. That is reset. Anyway, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Make sure you like, comment, subscribe. Peace.
