In today's video, I bring to you 10 most evil African pastors 2024.
Number 10: Pastor Blinks. A man who is a Ghanaian preacher, popularly called Pastor Blinkx, is a skit maker and claims to be a pastor. He said he was anointed from on high with supernatural powers and also that he was charged with a unique and singular assignment, which is to attend the hygienic need of his female church members. He was seen touching the private parts of his members. He also told them to drink from the water he used to bathe. In fact, this man who called himself a pastor also bathed his church members in a basin, saying that is to cleanse them from evil spirits. Can you imagine? He also appeared in a video posing as a pastor and praying for a woman's underwear.
Number 9: John Suleman. John Suleman also known as Apostle John Suleman is a Nigerian televangelist and the senior pastor and general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, who was called out on social media. He was accused, saying a scandal has erupted in Nigeria after a young woman named Stephanie Otobo accused John Suleman of impregnating her and pressuring her to have an abortion. These allegations have sparked a debate about the role of pastors in Nigeria and the wild influence they have over their followers. But Pastor Suleman has denied these allegations.
Number 8: Pastor Paul McKenzie. Pastor Paul McKenzie is a Kenyan preacher that instructed his followers to starve to death in order to meet Jesus, with no food or water, which led to the death of more than 400 people. Some reported feeling ill after following his instructions, and some had to be hospitalized. This preacher was found guilty and has been in police custody. He was arrested following the discovery of hundreds of bodies in a mass grave in the forest area. He was also acquitted for additional charges of influencing children not to attend school and using radical preaching to incite Christians against Hindus and Muslims.
Number 7: Pastor Lukau. Also known as Prophet of Doom, is a South African pastor who claims a pesticide called Doom can heal people. The company that produced Doom warned of the risks of spraying the substance, and also the government commission urged anyone affected to lodge complaints. But this so-called Prophet Lukau, who runs the Mount Zion General Assembly, was seen spraying the insecticide directly into the eyes and various body parts of his congregants. It is said that Doom is just the name, but when you speak to it, it becomes a healing product. People who have supposedly been healed by Doom testified, and it has been posted. This preacher also claimed that this spray can heal cancer and HIV. Now, wow, what is really going on in this world?
Number 6: Bishop Daniel Obinim. Bishop Daniel, also known as Angel Obinim, is a minister of the International God's Way Church in Ghana, who was seen stepping on the belly of a woman in a deliverance service. He declared that he was an angel of God, which led to the name Angel Obinim given to him by his church. In 2016, he also told his church that he could transform himself and others into objects and animals. "I'm the one who transforms myself as a dog, dog, physical." This man was also seen flogging two teenagers, one of whom was pregnant, on live television, accusing them of fornicating and conspiring to abort a pregnancy, leading to public outcry. After the video went viral on social media, Ghana's Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Nana Oye, herself led a campaign for his arrest by lodging a complaint to the Ghana Police Service Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit. Following his arrest, hundreds of his church members besieged the police station where he was held to demand his release, and they threatened not to vote for the government in the election that was held in Ghana in 2016 if Obinim was not released.
Number 5: Pastor Penuel Mnguni. Popularly known as the Snake Pastor, who is the founder of the End Time Disciples Ministry and also known to have fed snakes and rats to his congregants in South Africa. Penuel told his congregation that he had read certain scriptures such as Mark 16:17-18, which led him to believe he could feed his congregants with strange items to prove the power of God. Which did not stop there, he went further by driving a car over some of his members, feeding parts of rats and of their clothes during his wild church services. He was arrested for his activities and faced backlash from both human and animal rights groups. But despite the global outrage sparked by his actions, he vowed to continue undisturbed. However, he admitted that after discovering Emmanuel TV and beginning to listen to Prophet TB Joshua's teachings, he realized his activities were not spiritual.
Number 4: Pastor Paul Sanyangore. Is a controversial pastor from Zimbabwe, and he claims that he received God's phone number from the Almighty himself. He is also known as Pastor Talent, and he said that he often received calls from God on how to best help his congregants. He first made an audacious claim in a video of him allegedly talking on the phone with God during a service at his church, Victoria Falls International Ministry, and it went viral on social media. "Yes sir, is this Heaven? Is it Heaven?" Sanyangore's cousin, Tendai, revealed to H-Metro that he was living in fear following his difference with the man of cloth, who claims to have walked on water, saying 80% of his brother's miracles were fake and describing him as evil. This pastor said that he cannot fight his brother in the press. Tendai also said that Pastor Paul Sanyangore faked walking on water as someone edited a video of him walking on the cloth to fake his miracle.
Number 3: Pastor Alph Lukau. Pastor Alph Lukau is the founder and general overseer of Alleluia Ministries, who claimed to have resurrected a man from the dead. His "resurrection stunt" led to several lawsuits, with some critics challenging him to raise the late South African leader Nelson Mandela from the dead. He then said that he regrets the incident that happened and explained that he was busy with sermon on Sunday when he was interrupted and was told that a person in a coffin had been brought to the church. Before entering the church premises, the coffin began to shake, meaning the man was alive, that he was not dead, and he said he was sorry that he didn't tell people in the first place. Meanwhile, the lawyer representing Pastor Lukau's church, Hallelujah Ministries, has denied allegations that the resurrected man, Elliot, has been paid before to participate in miracles. "Man is commanding life, yes."
Number 2: Prophet Shepherd Bushiri. A Malawian preacher, prophet, and a businessman who has been implicated in several charges of fraud and money laundering. He told his followers that his company, SBI, was a legitimate investment company and that they could expect high returns on their investments. However, it is alleged that SBI was not a registered company, and the money invested by the followers was never invested in any legitimate business venture. Instead, it was used to fund the lavish lifestyle of Bushiri. Coming at number one is Pastor Lesego Daniel. He is a South African pastor, founder of the Grace Living Hope Ministry, who tells his members at his church to drink a deadly root poison from a bottle of water, saying it will nourish their bodies and heal them of their sickness. After the pastor took a sip from the bottom of the bottle, a multitude of congregants voluntarily ran to the front to have a drink of the deadly poison.
